It’s time to take out your snug throw blanket and watch the tree leaves turn to gold as you sit by the window sipping a spiced pumpkin latte. Fall is here! Unlike Spring, which witnesses a shift from cooler weather to warm, Fall offers a shift from warmer to cold.
Autumn or majorly known as Fall in the US and Canada is one of the four main seasons. Recently it has gained popularity among bystanders.
As every other person with whom I have talked. These days they are waiting to put on their warm scarf and go apple picking. The goal is to make the best possible jam of this season.
Earlier people used to wait for summer to arrive as they got the opportunity to beach tan, go camping, fishing, and enjoy the greens. Times have changed and we see a shift as people anticipate witnessing autumn.
Fall is the best season for most here as we welcome Halloween and Thanksgiving. There are side-hustle markets, and fall festivals happening in the town where there are pumpkin carving activities, especially for children. It is such a fun thing to do and go trick and treating in the neighborhood on Halloween day. Farmers are seen busily piling up their fresh harvest. People do not miss an opportunity to have fun with their fall DIY projects or host a backyard fall-themed party.
The canning season begins as people are seen hurrying to the market to buy the last of the season’s apples, and peaches. The special aspect of fall is that there is something for everyone. For people who love being indoors, on chillier days they can have a candlelight dinner with their new pumpkin-scented candle or call friends over and watch a Halloween flick. Pies are a delight in Fall, whether it be a pumpkin one or an apple, both are unimaginably delicious. Also, how can you miss the ritualistic Pumpkin spice made from the holistic blend of cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, and ginger? Drizzle it on your coffee and get all dreamy.
Team up with your mother to decorate your pantry with glass canisters of freshly prepared jam, and pickled dill. As they adorn the shelves, you can choose to showcase them to your friends and have them participate in the process. The fresh jam smeared on shiny baked buns is not only a delight to watch but also a fine treat to your tummy. As we lean towards shorter days and longer nights, this season offers us a feeling of nostalgia. We might begin having less sun time, but with so many fun things to do, there is less of a chance you would miss it.
Photo shoots are something to look forward to, in this season. The rustic vibe of the golden trees offers a magical touch even to the most casual photograph captured. Go on a long drive with your loved one to get drowned in the season’s whimsical beauty. There is some magic in the colors of this season. So, if you are a Fall person, you now know what to look forward to. Have fun walking over the leaves, listening to its rustling, and attempting a short trail. Wishing you all a cozy Happy Fall!
