KNOW WHO YOU ARE:
You must identify yourself. Am I a writer, a graphic designer, a copywriter, a public speaker, or an editor? What are my strengths/weaknesses? Your answer to the above questions should determine the nature of your online content. If none of the above, you should learn a skill that pays.
For example, no day goes by without me posting content about what I do on my handles. That serves as a constant reminder to both old friends and new friends on my list. You don’t know who is looking for your skills out there, and I get recommendations a lot from my handles.
KNOW WHAT YOU STAND FOR:
By this, I mean knowing where you stand. Are you for social impact, morality, making money, making friends, facts, or jokes? How can I render my services to people, and how do I gain clients for myself? You can do that by proving to be a boss in your field of expertise by gaining more knowledge and experience in what you do.
This will require you to consistently talk about your skill/business with family, friends, and also places of social activities. You never can tell who might be interested in your services and also get referrals from your friends. You need to believe and trust in your ability to deliver any time your services are required.
KNOW WHAT YOU CAN DO:
Can I teach properly?
Can I work for people?
Can I work under someone?
Can I work within a given time?
What should I focus on?
Constantly be on the lookout for the opportunities in that area and individuals you can learn from. It is essential to focus on your strength and improve in areas that you are good at. If it’s writing that you are passionate about, you want to start with that rather than combining more than one specialization at a particular time.
