Will Chris Rock Accept Will Smith's Apology?

As we all know, Chris Rock was slapped by Will Smith on the night of the Oscars. Afterwards, there was more talk and speculation about why Will Smith slapped Chris Rock. Chris Rock is a veteran comedian known for making jokes about race, everyday life situations, and politics. Rock made a joke on the night of the Oscars about Will Smith's wife, Jada Pinkett-Smith, about her hair, calling her GI Jane. Will Smith did not take the joke lightly and went on stage and slapped Chris Rock. Rock did not know that Jada Pinkett-Smith had Alpopecia ( a non-cancerous disease where your hair falls out) and believed that Jada would have been okay with the joke. Recently, Chris Rock performed at Atlanta's Fox Theater as part of the 'Ego Death World Tour. Rock made a statement regarding Will Smith's apology stating," If everybody claims to be a victim, then nobody will hear the real victims, even me getting smacked by Suge Smith…I went to work the next day. I have kids." Will and Jada Pinkett-Smith are also known for the "Entanglement Situation" regarding Jada Pinkett-Smith and August Alsina. When the entanglement situation went public, and people had their views and opinions about it, people said that probably amongst other personal issues in their lives that went public, it led to the slap. Will Smith finally apologized to Chris Rock, stating, "I will say to you, Chris, I apologize to you. My behaviour was unacceptable, and I'm here whenever you're ready to talk." A reaction video by a family therapist named Georgia Dow stated, "It's robotic, it's practised, I don't feel any emotions coming through". Will Smith's apology was brief. The damage has been done, but the genuine apology needs to come from Will Smith face to face with Chris Rock.  Will Smith has also stated that he was very shocked about what he did but would like to be friends again with Chris Rock in the future. He also has stated to give him some time, and he will heal from his issues.
