With just four days remaining until the highly anticipated film release of the year, "Jawan," Shah Rukh Khan engaged with his fans on the social media platform X (formerly known as Twitter) through another exciting #AskSRK session.
The interaction was filled with fun and excitement, but what truly caught our attention was Shah Rukh Khan's heartwarming response to a fan's query about his experience working with Nayanthara.
SRK’s remark on Nayanthara
A fan inquired, "Shah Rukh Khan brother, how was your experience working with Nayanthara ma'am? She is so beautiful." In reply, Shah Rukh Khan graciously expressed, "She is incredibly beautiful and a remarkably talented actress. Her contribution to her role has been outstanding. I hope her fans in Tamil Nadu fall in love with her all over again, and the Hindi audience appreciates her dedication and hard work."
In addition to his kind words for Nayanthara, Shah Rukh Khan also had words of admiration for the legendary actor Kamal Haasan. When a fan asked, "Could you share a few words about the legend Kamal Haasan?" SRK promptly responded, saying, "He is exceptionally gracious, a friend, and a source of inspiration for every actor."
Kamal Haasan’s Surprise for SRK
For those unfamiliar with the context, during Shah Rukh Khan's recent visit to Chennai for the audio launch of "Jawan," he was pleasantly surprised when Kamal Haasan, his co-star from the 2000 film "Hey Ram," made a virtual appearance.
Kamal Haasan praised Shah Rukh Khan by stating that he had "become the symbol of love" over the past 30 years and that "his smile brightens up thousands of faces." This was a heartfelt tribute from the veteran actor to SRK.
SRK began the session with a tweet saying, "Only 4 days left, and we will meet face to face! Until then, let's share 4 things. Let's talk about #Jawan and everything related to life... Join me for a short #AskSRK session... The Sunday Session."
The impressive ensemble of actors in Jawan features renowned names such as Deepika Padukone (in a special appearance), Sanya Malhotra, Priyamani, Sunil Grover, Girija Oak, Ridhi Dogra, Sanjeeta Bhattacharya, Lehar Khan, and Aaliyah Qureshi.
Meanwhile, last Friday, the film's creators unveiled a promotional video for Jawan to announce the commencement of bookings. The video was shared through Red Chillies Entertainment, the production house of Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri Khan.
The caption read, "The anticipation is over for both you and me. Bookings for Jawan are now open. Secure your tickets today. Jawan will be released worldwide on September 7, 2023, in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu." The trailer of Jawan was displayed on the iconic Burj Khalifa in Dubai as well.
SRK at Gadar 2 Success Party
While being busy promoting his film, SRK was also seen attending actor Sunny Deol’s success party for his film Gadar 2 last night.
At the party, Shah Rukh opted for a navy blue T-shirt paired with a grey jacket and black cargo pants. He completed his look with sneakers and tied his hair into a ponytail. Meanwhile, Sunny was spotted wearing a black T-shirt with a blue blazer and matching pants.
SRK will be seen for the first time in a completely bald look in Jawan, a film that is being greatly relished for its music and cast.
Jawan will be released in theatres on the 7th of September throughout the country and will be dubbed in three languages; Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu.
