Shudufadzo Musina (26) is a South African model, former Miss South Africa 2021, the author of "Shudu finds her magic" children’s book. Additionally, she is a mental health advocate, she is from Venda in Limpopo province. She is the first person to hold the Miss South Africa title in Limpopo, and she was selected to represent South Africa in Miss world 2021.
Miss World 2021 Grand Finale Beauty Pageant was postponed to December 2021 due to Covid-19 concerns after additional positive cases. The investiture will now take place on the 16th of March 2022 at the José Miguel Agrelot Coliseum in San Juan, Puerto Rico.
During her reign as Miss South Africa, Shudu started her journey of mindful Mondays to help people with mental illness. She was bullied by most South Africans saying that she looks like a man, that she does not deserve the title of Miss South Africa. Some people even accused her of walking around Johannesburg malls half-naked, saying that she does not represent South Africa well.
Nonetheless, congratulations on making it to the top 40 Shudu. Against all odds, Shudu was able to rise again and was able to give back to her community and her fans. She also invested in children with her book “Shudu finds her magic” which teaches children to believe in themselves, and how to protect themselves against bullies no matter the obstacles.
All the best Shudu on your miss world beauty pageant competition journey!
