South Korea passes a bill to protect underaged K-pop idols

At the end of April, a new law was passed by a National Assembly standing committee in South Korea to clamp down upon exploitation in the K-pop industry. This strengthens labour protections for underaged K-pop idols, mandating greater financial transparency from their management agencies.
