43-years after the Gwangju Massacre in South Korea that caused the death of 2000 citizens, the grandson of a military dictator apologises. Chun Doo Wan was a military dictator who was being protested against in 1980 by citizens of Gwangju. He ordered his military to kill these citizens under martial law and neither he nor his family nor the government had taken accountability for the deaths ordered during this civil war until his grandson.
