Taiwanese Democracy is “under threat” : President Tsai Ing-Wen

UNITED STATES: Tsai Ing-Wen, President of Taiwan met with Kevin McCarthy, speaker of the United States House of Representatives at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library in California. Wen paid tribute to the late President Reagan and discussed the immediacy of the China-Taiwan situation. China has taken a firm stance over taking control of Taiwan, despite the two nations being ruled independently for the last twenty years, and states that it will soon seize the nation by force if necessary.
