A teacher was shot by his six-year-old student in a Virginia classroom

On January 6, 2023, a sudden and surprising incident happened at Richneck Elementary School in a Virginia city called Newport News, where a 6-year-old elementary school kid shot his female teacher. According to Newport News police and school officials, "a six-year-old student shot his teacher when the two were isolated during an altercation inside a first-grade classroom."
