Algiers Arab Summit 2022

Algeria is preparing to host the 31st Arab Summit on the 1st and 2nd of November, which is the fourth summit on its soil. This summit has been postponed 3 times in a row due to the Corona pandemic. Algeria chose the 1st of November, which coincides with the anniversary of the outbreak of the Algerian revolution in 1954. Algeria has organized 3 historic summits on its territory, the last of which was the 2005 summit. The slogan "a summit of reunification" was launched, and among the indicators of this is the recent success of the Algerian mediation in the signing of a reconciliation agreement by the Palestinian factions in Algeria, as part of the latter's efforts to translate the objectives of the "summit slogan". Through this agreement, Algeria sent messages to Arab capitals calling on them to unite to face the current challenges.
