After the seven-minute standing ovation the actor received, online users were taken aback when pictures of Johnny Depp smiling surfaced all over the internet after his appearance at the Cannes festival, revealing yellow-tinged teeth.

Over the years, Johnny Depp, a famous American actor, has gained immense popularity among the public, making him one of the most acclaimed actors in Hollywood. He has appeared in iconic movies such as the Pirates of the Caribbean series (in which he portrays Captain Jack Sparrow), Edward Scissorhands, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, and even Alice in Wonderland.
His Longevity in cinema helped him maintain a unique career throughout the years. However, a significant change occurred in the past few years when actress Amber Heard accused him of domestic abuse, shedding light on an alleged aspect of the personality of Johny Depp that almost nobody has seen.
While the trial was very followed on social media, Amber Heard went through multiple attacks. Several users accused her of lying, faking tears, and manipulating media.
In one of the three defamation cases brought forward, Depp was found liable, and Amber Heard was awarded $2 million in compensatory damages out of the $100 million claim. However, she was not awarded any punitive damages.

Discolored Teeth and Drugs?
What shocked social media were the colors of Depp's teeth and how degraded they were. Several users started to theorize about it and speculated that the actor had his teeth degraded after taking certain types of drugs that destroy tooth enamel.
Some drugs are indeed known to destroy tooth enamel, such as methamphetamine, commonly known as meth, which causes a decrease in saliva production, leading to dry mouth (xerostomia). However, nothing can be proven if the actor did use drugs.
