
In the Langenhorn district in Hamburg, two people died during a shooting in the night on Saturday, the 25th of March. According to the German newspaper Bild, the shooting was generated during the rockers' debate, which ended tragically.
Danny A. went to the man's house a few moments before. It hasn’t even been clarified yet why the shooter suddenly acted out. According to the ongoing status of the investigation, the man had shot many times against the other man, Danny A., and then at the arrival of the police, he committed suicide. Danny was 42 years old, and the shooter was 50 years old. The witnesses referred to having heard shoots in Reeborn Street. Soon on the spot, signalled 28 patrol cars rushed.
On the sidewalk between two apartment buildings, officers discovered the dead bodies. Police officers seized the revolver found among corpses. According to witnesses, the shooting took place around 11.30 pm.
After the fact, the intervention crisis team (KIT) of the German Red Cross cared for relatives and eyewitnesses. Homicide squad have opened an investigation into the shooting. One resident told Bild: “I had just gone to bed and wanted to sleep when suddenly I heard three shots. When I looked out the window, the first passers-by were already running towards the entrance of a house. Unusually, something like that happens here. You feel comfortable and safe here, and then something like this happens in your home”. Flowers were placed at the crime scene.
This is the second fatal shooting in the arch of a month in the northern German city. On the 9th of March, another night of terror due to the shooting in a place of worship of Jehovah's Witnesses in Hamburg: eight dead and several injured. Among the victims is the killer: the bomber committed suicide; it would be a former community member.
