The couples' names were Janette' J" J Pantoya and Juan Almanza Zavala. They were found outside of a vehicle that crashed on a barrier, according to the Nevada County Police Report.
According to a report by Fox News.Com, Pantoja and Zavala's cell phones were found in the crashed vehicle, and Someone called 911 reporting the crash.
In the case of missing Kiely Rodney, according to the Nevada County Police Report, Kiely's mother, Lindsey Nieman, gave her daughter permission to attend a party at The Prosser Campground. Nieman woke up the next day, and Kiely was not at home. She got worried and called the Nevada Authorities to report Kiely missing.
Rodney's boyfriend, Jagger Westfall, told Oxygen True Crime, about Kiely Rodney, stating," I don't know where she is, we don't have anything to go off of at this point ., But I fully believe that she's alive and well".
According to a News 4 Report, the California Highway Patrol held a press conference with updated information about the Kiely Rodney investigation stating the investigation will include searching for clothing items and using water teams and dogs to find Kiely Rodney.
According to a report from The Mercury News, Lt. Josh Barnhart, the Placer County Sheriff stated about Kiely Rodney: " People that were there saw something… Someone knows. Someone saw her, and they're not coming forward".
These two cases need to be solved. Although these cases are not related, they are putting the families of these victims in a position where they are worried about their loved ones. Someone knows something about both of these cases and must come forward with any information about Kiely Rodney and the dead couple. A statement made by Megan Sheets, a friend of Kiely Rodney from Yahoo Finance, "We feel like, hopefully, this will help draw her here ".
