Meghan Markle Ripped To Shreds With Upcoming Docuseries

Netflix has officially announced the release of the docuseries, directed by Liz Garbus, showcasing the lives of Meghan Markle and Prince Harry, the former Duke, and Duchess of Sussex. The trailer was released three days ago (December 1st), with the release hoped to be on the 8th of December 2022.

The documentary is allegedly a six-episode limited series delving into the deep and vulnerable moments of Meghan and Harry's relationships. Since their marriage back in 2018, both have been portrayed by the media as villains, and through this series, they hope to set the record straight as well as expose the royal family for all they put the couple through back when they were working royals.

In the trailer, we see a glimpse of an emotional Meghan with her husband as she says, "If the stakes are this high, doesn't it make more sense to hear our story from us?" with her husband also suggesting "he did what he had to do to protect his family."

Back in 2021, Meghan and Harry went on Opera to explain their truth and how she had felt mistreated within the family and made claims that, due to her race, there were questions concerning the colour of skin her child (at the time she was pregnant with Archie) would be. She spoke about how difficult that time was and how she had felt suicidal and depressed during her time with the royal family. Neither of them was allegedly given any assistance in dealing with the extreme media backlash as well as comments made within the household by the staff.

It may be seen as a good thing that they can speak their truth and finally move on with their lives, but the viewers don't see it that way.

The trailer on YouTube currently has six million views and over 30,000 comments, many of which are extremely negative. Both of them, but especially Markle, has faced a huge backlash, with many people calling her ungrateful, an attention seeker, "tone deaf," and many more horrible things.

In light of this documentary, we hope the couple can gain the clarity and closure they wanted with this series and eagerly await to see the audience's reaction.
