On April 19, 2023, the BucketListers website announced that the Barbie Malibu Cafe would be located in New York.
From May 17 to Sept. 15, 2023, the fourth month-long pop-up event will be held at the Seaport District of 19 Fulton Street, New York, New York, 10038.
“Bucket Listers is honored to bring The Malibu Barbie Cafe to life,” Bucklister CEO and Founder Andy Lederman expressed. “We pride ourselves on creating exclusive experiences for our community of 15 million+ fans, concepts they won’t find anywhere else. Barbie has proven to be one of history’s ultimate icons, we just couldn’t pass up this chance to bring her world to life.”
The event description on the BucketListers website expresses what attendees can expect when the pop-up cafe arrives. To clarify, it includes a sea of laidback beachy motifs, a life-size Barbie box for snapping photos, a Barbie-inspired menu by Master Chef finalist Chef Becky Brown.
Whether a longtime Barbie fan is celebrating a special occasion, gathering with friends, or on a date, this summer pop-up event presents a final, no refunds, no exchanges of $22-30 for children and $39-49 for adults depending on the off-peak or peak dates and times.
The tickets allow attendees full access to the pop-up experience, such as a 90-minute reservation with a choice of entree and side items in addition to libations, shared plates, and desserts available for purchase.
The tickets on the Bucketlisters website are going between $50 for two bar seats or a table for two to $125 for a table of 5 or 6, which appears a few later evenings sold out for the actual day the pop-up cafe arrives.
