
Pakistanis all around the globe have been waiting for 14th august impatiently, but as this approaches, there is always the hype for having the same color theme as the flag (green and white). 14th August is the day when Pakistanis mark their independence from the British empire.
There were many places where this celebration was held, but being present at the Savera Hotel in south Ruislip London, for this event was a truly amazing evening. At this event, many celebrities were present, including the former mayor of Pakistan. The captain of the British Virgin Royal Navy gave a speech in which he said he was very proud of how far Pakistan had come.
TRTWorld streamed its news on Twitter (https://twitter.com/ theeinsteinss/ status/ 1559170704750399488) where it showed that they have lit up the Istanbul bridge that connects one side of Turkey with the other, in the colors of Pakistan in solidarity to show their happiness and support for the independence.
Nevertheless, in a recent interview (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qySFtPoISog), the former Muslim mayor of London Sadiq Khan congratulated the Pakistanis around the globe for the celebration while quoting that ’75 years has been a rocky road for Pakistan’. This means that once the account that the 75th celebration of Pakistan’s independence, the celebrations around the world have been set up extraordinarily.
On one account the BBC during their headlines showed the parade of Pakistan’s army during their independence celebration. Despite the celebration meant to bring happiness, much of it in Pakistan was still surrounded by Pakistan’s ‘unstable politics’ as quoted by a BBC news reporter puma filani. Nonetheless, there were reports from BBC (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VVw5P8iC-68) saying that since the partition in 1947 ‘Pakistan has grown economically’.
Even Geo News reported the entire 75th Pakistan independence celebration, from all around Pakistan, as many Pakistani celebrities even wished Pakistan happy independence. Many of these include Sarah khan, Ayesha, and Danish. This means that this year Pakistan has seen the most unexplainable independence celebration since the partition.
In addition, the prime minister of Pakistan Muhammad Shehbaz sharif at Pakistan’s sweet home to celebrate independence with children which included even cutting a cake with a similar theme, while feeding the kids cake with his hands. This video has gone viral on Facebook and has won the hearts of many.
