
The CM pf Punjab has urged its citizens to record and send videos/pictures of bribe-takers on the anti-corruption helpline number he will be launching on 23rd of March.
Punjab is all set to release first of its kind Anti-corruption helpline number to curb the evil practices of bribe- taking in the state, announced the new CM of Punjab on Thursday.
The citizens can send audio/video clips and pictures of any government employee on the number which has been stated as the personal WhatsApp number of the ruling CM, encouraging people to take steps towards the initiative.
In a video released by Mann, the former can be seen giving the example of AAP party and how when Mr. Arvind Kejriwal (CM of Delhi) came into power and launched a helpline number, where people were asked to send in videos and picture of any corrupt official, which later led to eradication of corruption from the union territory.
Bhagwant Mann took to twitter to spread the news around which read” This Shaheed Diswas day, we will be launching an anti-corruption helpline number. The number will be of my own ‘personal’ WhatsApp number. I request the citizens to share video/audio/pictures of any government employee asking for bribe with me on that number and then, strict actions will be taken against them”. Re-sharing the tweet Arvind Kejriwal congratulating the people of Punjab and stating that NO bribing will be tolerated in the state.
