Up and Coming Comedian Dead At 28

Jak Knight, a comedian, writer, and actor, was found dead in his Los Angeles home last Thursday.

Knight's cause of death was not disclosed. His friends and family do not wish to speak to the press about his death; they want to grieve in peace at the moment.

Knight was also known for being the co-creator of Peacock's Bust Down and the voice-over character on the TV show Big Mouth.

Knight's comedic style stunned audiences around the world. He spoke on race, religion, and altering your voice as a person of colour to work for Corporate America.

A statement issued by EW to Peacock and UTV stated, "He was a brilliant comedian, visionary and artist, and we were all lucky to experience his greatness. Our hearts are with Jak's family, friends, and community during this heart-breaking time".

Knight was originally from Seattle, Washington, and he wrote for FOX TV. He did an animated series in 2013 called Lucas Bros. Moving Company.

Knight was also named Comedy Central Comic to Watch in 2014.

Knight also appeared on TV shows, such as The Meltdown with Jonah and Kumail, @ Midnight, and Adam Devine's House Party.

Another comedian named Tim Dillion expressed his sentiments on Twitter, stating, "We taped Netflix specials together years ago. He had an amusing original voice in comedy and a great guy who will be sorely missed".

Knight toured with comedians Eric Andre, Aziz Ansari, and Joe McHale.

Before Knight passed away, he was working on a film called First Time Female Director, which was his first film debut about Chelsea Peretti.
