Woman Bites Father-In-Law's Genitals During Dispute

A 78-year-old Kenyan man’s genitals were bitten by his daughter-in-law after he tried to settle a dispute between his daughter-in-law and a friend.

Vincent Barasa, hailing from Kenya's Bungoma County, Bumula constituency, was having his evening meal at around 4 p.m. when he was informed by one of his grandchildren that there was a commotion in his son’s house.

Mr. Barasa went to his son’s house, only to find out it was his daughter-in-law, Evelyn Okello, who was having a heated dispute with a female friend from a nearby market, who came to their house in Kimaeti Sub-county.

According to Mr. Barasa, after many attempts to find out what brought about the clash with no constructive feedback, he decided to leave the scene, only to be followed by Evelyn and hit with a stone at the back of his head.

The daughter-in-law then jumped on him after he fell and started biting him right from his chest, and when he tried to push her away, she proceeded to bite his genitals. Evelyn claimed that the old man has not always been supporting her, even when she is on the right side, which increased her anger and made her bite him.

According to Evelyn’s husband, Godfrey Wekesa, his wife thought that the lady in question was his husband’s side woman. He further added that Miss Okello, his second wife, has always been violent, not only to his father but also to him, and has always threatened to kill him one day. Wekesa and his wife were beaten by the neighboring villagers, who heard Barasa scream and came for his rescue.

According to one of the villagers, such incidents of gender-based violence are rampant, and most of the victims easily get away with their satanic acts. He pleads with the authorities to take all possible actions to diminish these traumatizing deeds. Mr. Barasa was rushed to the hospital, where his wounds are being nursed. Police officers are now hunting for Miss Okello, who went into hiding after the incident occurred.
