Many of us know what the Seven Wonders of the World are, but new wonders have entered the arena of competition, and they only happen in Lebanon.
Lebanon has many wonders, starting with its laws and always sponsoring the slogan "not all people are the same.
Another wonder of Lebanon, where there is a lot of water, but the country is living in water rationing, and there is no electricity in it instead of benefiting from its water wealth to produce energy. And there is no embarrassment about its wonders from the system to the absence of any protection for old age or a guarantee for medicine.
An article was published in the Guardian newspaper under the title "The People Betrayed", in which the writer says that one of the main causes of Lebanese crisis is the corruption, violence and incompetence of those who run the affairs of the state. One of the wonders of the Land of the Cedars is also that its people are unparalleled, pretending to be the smartest on earth and unable to give solutions to the crisis affecting their country.
What kind of people that are humiliated in front of banks and gas stations, and wants to fight the corruption while they are partners in all corruption in their simplest daily lives? Economy Minister Amin Salam said, "Shop owners have robbed the people for two years."
So why are we surprised when a scandal is revealed? Who stores the medicines and leaves the patient without medicine? Is this not a crime in itself? Where are the people who want to fight corruption?
Strange this country, and actually will win the challenge in the face of the seven wonders of the world.
