
PSL 8 is here to delight worldwide cricket fans. PSL 2023 schedule is all set for cricket enthusiasts to cast lose some time from their busy lives for recreation. The 8th edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) will commensurate on February 13, 2023.
As with previous years, there will be 6 teams participating in PSL 2023. Several famous cricketers attend the tournament from around the world, including Alex Hales, Jason Roy, Matthew Wade, Babar Azam, Shaheen Afridi, David Miller, and Mohammad Rizwan.
In 2015, PCB (Pakistan Cricket Board) established a franchise of Twenty20 cricket PSL (Pakistan Super League).

Which is the Most Famous Team of PSL 2023?
Every team has its own popularity in particular regions. However, Islamabad United is faring relatively as a successful team. Islamabad United’s fame is
crowning of credit to the champion title twice in the Pakistan Cricket League.
Islamabad United relishes the love of Islamabadi (dwellers of Islamabad) and Rawal Pindi. Likewise, the dwellers of Multan support Multan Sultans. Lahories (people of Lahore) endow Lahore Qalandars while citizens of Peshawar bolster up Peshawar Zalmi. Karachi dwellers support Karachi Kings, and people belonging to Quetta support Quetta Gladiators.
Format of PSL 2023
According to the PSL 2023 format, six teams will play against each other twice in a round-robin arrangement. The first round of the PSL 2023 will take place in Multan and Karachi, where teams will face each other heads on. Later, the action will shift to Lahore Qalandars and Islamabad United.
After the initial league stage, the four teams with the highest ranking will enter the playoffs. At the end of the tournament, the top two teams will play in the Qualifier round (quarter-final round). The other two teams (the third and fourth ones) will play the Eliminator round. The winner of the Eliminator round and the loser of the Qualifier round will play a match. The winner of the semi-final round will enter the final of PSL 8.

PCB (Pakistan Cricket Board) has announced three locations for PSL 8;
Lahore
Karachi
Multan
Quetta, and Peshawar stadiums were also part of the venue. However, the PCB decided not to hold any matches in Peshawar for security concerns. Likewise, because of some logistical reasons, Quetta was removed from the venue list of PSL 2023. Although, the reasons for Quetta's removal from the venues of the Pakistan Cricket League 2023 are vague. It's speculated that there are some maintenance issues as well.
