Young people have the potential to create peace in their communities! A commitment to creating a positive impact through peace building, a concern for local and/or global issues and an ability to generate and articulate impactful ideas, and ability to work towards a shared goal through teamwork and collaboration and a willingness to stay engaged with fellow Peace Ambassadors are some of their duties and responsibilities.
Paying attention to the problems that the international community is currently facing is one of their main goals to help bring about positive change. Challenges such as the Deprivation of girls' access to education in Afghanistan and the exclusion of girls from school and university and the educational environment for the development of the country by the Taliban government and the refuge of Afghanistan people and Ukrainians due to the war are examples that need increasing international attention in the field.
Focusing on immigration laws and prevention of human trafficking are so effective areas to research more and find a good solution for them for facing with it. Young people, because of their extensive communication through different programs, can participate in different programs and different courses and workshops, so they become more familiar with the issues that challenge society, so they use specific ideas to solve problems, which Will be useful for advancing the goals of the United Nations.
That is empowering and developing young leaders to build a fair, sustainable future for all. It is a chance for the young generation to come together to confront the biggest challenges facing humanity. Young people Who are able to focus their efforts on safeguarding, stimulating, facilitating, and creating the space for societies to develop resilient capacities for self-organization.
Scholarship winners will participate in the One Young World Summit 2022, In this Summit will see 2,000 young leaders from 190 countries descend on Manchester for the global forum for young leaders. The application deadline was Wednesday 15 June 2022!
Available to join the programme full-time between 4 and 8 September 2022. You can easily enrol in that scholarship program. You only need to write short texts about yourself and your goals for joining this meeting, but due to the high number of applicants, people who have registered their application on the site earlier will be given priority. So, hurry up and write about your achievements and successes and the work you have done for peace so far.
