I'm a multilingual, tricultural individual, who recenty graduated from Cambridge. The multidisciplinary nature of my degree has prepared me to deal with a diverse variety of disciplines. Studying Social Anthropology, Metaphysics and in-depth Sociology modules has allowed me to critically engage with a plethora of socio-cultural subjects, ranging from personhood and borders to digital societies and social movements. While carrying out my studies in a separate field, I've always aspired to work in publishing, which led me to engage in the editorial world of student journalism for four years. I've written for various publications, namely Varsity (award-winning student newspaper), the Cambridge Language Collective (CLC) and Bouffe. The CLC provided me with a more diverse means of exploring culture creatively, by delving beyond the anglophone world. With Varsity, I initially engaged with the Lifestyle section and lastly exploring exploring cinematic culture for its Film & TV section. The latter, a start-up magazine, enabled me to explore food beyond food, through a socio-cultural lens. I aspire to deepen my expertise in social themes and creative disciplines, namely narrative power, modern timescapes, the arts, cinema, language, identity and more!
