Lily Head | London

My name is Lily and I am an English literature student studying at the University of Roehampton in London. I work as an editorial intern here at TheSocialTalks. 

Originally from a sleepy seaside town in Devon, I moved to London for university. My love of writing was enriched as the city led me to explore the vast creative opportunities that it had to offer, such as poetry readings, theatre performances, and creative writing workshops. 

Alongside my degree, I am a songwriting intern where I create songs for an up-and-coming children's educational app. Also, when I am not working, I enjoy playing guitar, writing poetry, going out with friends, travelling and making art. 

I believe telling a story can now come with inaccuracies and exaggerations. However, with TheSocialTalks, the goal is to be factual and thorough when recounting stories which we need more of.
