Hold tight because we are in the middle of a fascinating award season!

Following the SAG Awards nomination last week, and the Golden Globes night a few hours ago, the nominations for the 73rd British Academy of Film and Television Awards, BAFTAs, were announced.

Not too many surprises, considering that the nominated films, actors, and other artists are usually the same for all of these main,

Among the most nominated motion pictures, we can find Everything Everywhere All At Once and The Banshees of Inisherin, both with ten nominations, followed by Elvis with nine and Tàr with five. It is a tight for Aftersun, The Batman, Top Gun: Maverick, The Whale, and Good Luck to You, Leo Grande.  However, the most significant honor goes to All Quiet on the Western Front, which gained 14 nominations, becoming the foreign-language film with the most nominations in BAFTA's history.

What is the most significant plot twist about the BAFTAs? Steven Spielberg was not nominated for the director category. But do not worry; we can all be assured that he will not miss the position when the Academy Award nominations will come out on January 24, as he is Hollywood’s favorite.

Richard E. Grant will host the ceremony, which will take place on February 19 in London at the Royal Festival Hall. Therefore, prepare yourself for the big night by having a look at the complete list of nominees here.
