One of the most famous festivals in the world, Coachella is held in the city of Indio, California. It takes place annually at the end of April. This festival is divided into a main stage, taking the name Coachella Stage, and several other structures that house musicians of various musical styles such as hip hop, rock, and electronic music.

Its original name Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival, but known by most as just Coachella, aims to bring together big names from various musical styles, ranging from The Rolling Stones to even the Korean band Black pink.

As in previous years, the festival takes place at the Stagecoach Country Music Festival at the Empire Polo Club, which is about 30 minutes from Palm Springs. And for those coming from the two major cities of Orange Country and Los Angeles, you will be faced with insane traffic, especially through Cabazon and the Banning and Beaumont areas along the 10 Freeway.

The festival was born after a concert by the famous rock band Pearl Jam, which took place at the Empire Polo Club in 1993. The fix can validate the site's visibility for hosting major events. At first, it was held for two consecutive days, then in 2007, it was expanded to three consecutive days. In 2012 it began to be held over two weekends with the same program. In 2020 and 2021 the festival did not take place because of the covid 19 pandemic.

The event has a reputation for bringing in musical artists who are either on the rise or who have been around for a long time. It is considered one of the most profitable music festivals in the United States and worldwide. We have an example of when the festival took place in 2017, which was attended by 250,000 people and grossed $114.6 million.

This year the festival is quite different from other years, due to several factors. The world of the metaverse will be present at the festival on Coachella Island in Fortnite where you will be able to immerse yourself in various experiences. The Coachella mobile app will help you stay connected at every step, available for iOS and Android to get the latest updates, register your wristband, choose your custom line and unlock more fun on-site.

In 2023 another historic milestone will happen at the event and of even greater importance for Latinos. The most acclaimed and favourite reggaeton singer of the moment, Bad Bunny, will be the first Spanish-speaking to headline the festival. In the repertoire, he will sing hits like 'Vete' and 'Tití me preguntó'.

During his performance, he will be filming documentary-style narration footage that tells the story of Latin American music, especially Caribbean music, which occupies an important and prominent place around the world. He will also invite prominent artists to take the stage, such as Post Malone, for example.

For the oldies, the North American rock band, New Wave Blondie, led by veteran Debbie Harry, will entertain the crowd with their hits from the 80s and 90s. Also headlining the first weekend will be rappers Pusha T and Doechii, Nigerian Afrobeats exponent Burna Boy, Becky G, and Grammy winner Kali Uchis.
