
On October 28, 2023, Perry was found unresponsive in a hot tub at his home in Pacific Palisades, Los Angeles, and was later pronounced dead at the age of 54. His assistant returned to his six million dollar home to find him unconscious, having drowned in his hot tub. The captain of the Los Angeles Police Department stated that an autopsy is underway, but a cause of death may not be known for some time. Foul play is not suspected at this time, neither is the abuse of drugs or alcohol.
