Ten Hag takes dig on Murtough

Manchester United’s line has been good in the recent days, and they want to give Erik Ten Hag more weapons to fight for victory in the final stretch of the season.

Manchester United wants to incorporate Joao Felix in this winter market. They are willing to offer four million Euros for the player, plus his full salary until June. It would be a loan without a purchase option.

Atletico Madrid has told Manchester United that they want twelve to thirteen million Euros for the loan of Joao Felix.

The situation between Joao Felix and Atletico Madrid is very tense. Madrid’s manager Diego Simone has had many issues with Joao Felix, and he has said to the press that Felix's mentality is not doing him justice.

The Portuguese player is determined to leave the club in January. He has also not returned to training, as he does not want to risk injury that may put his transfer in jeopardy.

The world cup — where Joao Felix was one of Portugal’s most outstanding players — has ended, convincing Manchester United to reinforce its forward.

Erik Ten Hag has spoken to members of the press on new transfers. He said that “when there are opportunities at the top, you have to be ready for that. My main focus is to improve the team, we always have to look for that (new signings). We have to push the players and we also have to push the organization. You need to be ready.”

According to Ben Jacobs’ report, “it’s crystal clear that, internally, Erik Ten Hag wanted the player [Gakpo], and Manchester United started a dialogue on the players side to get a full buy-in.”

Erik Ten Hag was questioned about Anthony Martial (coming off the pitch on the sixth minute of the games). He responded that “he can play ninety minutes but (if we’re playing him) in a row of games, we have to protect him so he can have the strength, the power to deliver over ninety minutes, every third day.”

Erik Ten Hag is pleading with the Manchester United board and Arnold Murtough to sign him a striker. Ten Hag knows that his rival clubs are spending in the transfer window. To secure the team's position in the top four of the squad, they need a pair of fresh legs.
