Disney’s hit show “Good Luck Charlie” aired for the first time in April 2010. The show was based on a family with four children and ran for four seasons. Little did someone know that the star of the show Bridgit Mendler 10 years later would make some very big career moves.

Right before the show ended, Mendler enrolled herself in the University of Southern California in 2013 majoring in anthropology, as said by her on Jimmy Kimmel Live in 2015. Mendler was able to graduate just three years after starting her undergrad.

In 2018 Mendler relocated to Massachusetts Institute of Technology where in 2018 she began working on her Master’s degree in media arts and sciences. However, her journey at MIT did not end there. Upon receiving her master’s degree in 2020 she stayed at the institute to earn her PhD and become a Doctor of Philosophy.

The MIT media lab states, “Bridgit Mendler is a PhD student at the MIT Media Lab with a focus on technologies that support inclusive and collaborative governance and citizen engagement.”

Just one year later Mendler enrolled in Harvard’s law school where she became the Co-President of Harvard Space Law Society according to her Linkedin

However, her academic achievements do not stop here. Currently, she is the CEO and Co-founder of Northwood, a startup that Mendler described to CNBC in a recent article as “The vision is a data highway between Earth and space.”

However, this is not the end of the accomplishments that Mendler has had. She shared on a recent social media post that she has adopted a child.

“Started fostering in 2021 adopted near Christmas of 2022.”  Mendler said in the post accompanied by a photograph of the two on the beach.

While Mendler has become a mother and a doctor, she has not steered clear from her roots as a child actor. The star put out songs from 2011 to 2013 while starring in “Good Luck Charlie” and picking up other roles in movies like “Lemonade Mouth.”

The star put out an EP titled “Nemesis” during November of 2018, while she was pursuing her master’s degree.

The Doctor has been up to so much and people have not failed to notice. She has recently done interviews with many different publications like CNBC.
