India will overtake China as the world's most populous country by 2023, according to experts

 

 

 

 

By 2023, India will surpass China as the most populous nation. Experts view this as a positive sign for the country and its population.The researchers estimated that India will likely overtake China as the most populous nation in 2023. They claimed that India's growing population could present a chance to become a global resource producer.

 

On Tuesday, the world population surpassed the eight billion threshold, with India playing a major role in the achievement.

 

The prediction is China's contribution to the subsequent billion in the global population, which increased by 73 million globally.

 

India is likely to surpass China as the most populous country in 2023. 

 

According to the Population Foundation of India (PFI), this milestone should be viewed as a chance for India to improve its planning and guarantee a healthy and happy life for the population.

The World Population Prospects-2022 report from the UN, which was published on July 11 in honor of World Population Day, predicted that on November 15 there would be eight billion people on the planet.

The research also said that, having decreased by less than 1% in 2020, the rate of population growth worldwide is at its lowest level since 1950.

The PFI executive director stated that we must stop obsessing over numbers and begin to view "our population as people, in accordance with the principles of equality and equity."
