The 49th edition of Arab Health exhibition

The 49th edition of Arab health, the biggest healthcare show in the middle east and north Africa (MENA) area, was toured today by sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the ruler of Dubai and the vice president and prime minster of the United Arab Emirates.

During the visit, His Highness stated that the UAE's comprehensive medical system and cooperation between local and federal government agencies, as well as the private sector, have made sure that residents and citizens alike have access to the greatest healthcare services. Additionally, His Highness emphasized the role that public-private partnerships have had in enhancing the effectiveness of the nation's healthcare system, generating growth and competitiveness via the provision of state-of-the-art infrastructure, highly skilled labor, and cutting-edge technologies. By assuring the highest possible health and quality of life for everyone, these developments contribute to the general well-being of society.

Along with the happiness and wellness of its citizens, Sheikh Mohammed stated that the UAE places a high priority on developing its healthcare system. These programmes serve not only residents of the UAE but also individuals from all over the region and the globe. His Highness welcomed exhibitors and delegates who have rushed to Dubai to exchange ideas and learn about the most recent developments in the medical area, saying that Arab Health offers a perfect platform to discuss successful experiences and practices in this respect.

The expo, which took place in the Dubai World Trade Centre from January 29 to February 1, 2024, had over 3,400 exhibitors, over 40 foreign pavilions, and over 180 participating countries. Attendees of the event will have an unparalleled chance to network, discover new medical insights and state-of-the-art healthcare technologies, and establish fruitful commercial relationships.

Along with HH Shaikh Mohammed, senior officials and healthcare professionals were in attendance at the exhibition. They included His Excellency Helal Saeed Al Marri, who is the Chairman of Dubai World Trade Centre Authority, His Excellency Awadh Seghayer Al Ketbi, who is the Director General of the Dubai Health Authority, Dr. Amer Ahmad Sharif, the CEO of Dubai Health, and His Excellency Abdulrahman bin Mohamed Al Owais, who is the UAE Minister of Health and Prevention.

His Highness received updates on the most recent services and goods provided by Siemens Healthineers, Cleveland Clinic, Canon, and Pure Health during his visits to their exhibits. He also went to the exhibition's Italian pavilion.

Nine different sectors are included in Arab Health 2024: Medical Equipment & Devices; Imaging & Diagnostics; Orthopaedics & Physiotherapy; IT Systems & Solutions; Healthcare Infrastructure & Assets; Wellness & Prevention; and Healthcare Transformation.
