Rock and roll legend Keith Richards, iconic guitarist of ‘The Rolling Stones’, turns 80 this week, marking a milestone in his legendary career. Richards, known for his gritty guitar riffs and timeless hits, has been a driving force in shaping the sound of rock music.
“I feel perfectly fine, I mean, I could jump on stage now and do the show”, expressed the guitarist who was born in Dartford on the 18th of December 1943.
Richards recently stated in an interview that he composed "Angie" and "Wild Horses" for his kids. “In the first composition I told them that I had to leave home and continue on tour with the Rolling Stones so 'wild horses wouldn't drag me away”. In contrast, 'Angie' was composed in 1972 just for her new-born daughter Angela.
