Max Verstappen wins the Formula1 Australian Grand Prix 2023

Max Verstappen wildly won the Formula 1 Australian Grand Prix 2023 in Melbourne. The race was quite dramatic and dragged over two and a half hours. During the race, the Red Bull driver lagged on the track at first. But he steadily raced over other players and won the match at an advantage of enormous pace.

The Formula 1 World Championship 2023 third-round match was nothing less than a drama. The match ended with three red flags and various ups and downs.

At the beginning of the race, Verstappen lost the lead to Mercedes’ duo George Russell and Lewis Hamilton. Meanwhile, Alex Albon’s big crash became the stepping stone for Verstappen’s victory. Using DRS in the ultra-fast section ahead of Turn 9, he passed Hamilton.

Meanwhile, Russell vamoosed with an engine fire. Not long after, Kevin Magnussen crashed his Haas receiving a red flag. The crash ended, and another multicar crash happened to receive the third red flag. The cars that didn’t get crashed completed the final lap behind the safety car.

The crashes cruised Verstappen to victory, and he finished it in 58 laps. It was his 35th career win and first victory in Australia.

Max Verstappen is a dutch racing driver who won the Formula One championship in 2021, 2022, and 2023. The 25-year-old racer is the son of the former Formula One racing driver, Jos Verstappen.
