Red Bull's supremacy in Formula 1

The Formula One pre-season that took place in February in Bahrain had already shown a preview of how powerful and prepared the Red Bull RB19 was to fight for another title. But already in the first two races of the season, which took place in early March, it proved what everyone was speculating, that Red Bull is the car with the most potential on the grid.

In the first race of the year the Dutchman and first Red Bull driver Max Verstappen lead the entire race without any unforeseen events and won in Bahrain. Max started the year with the same intensity as he finished last year, with speed and a desire for more titles. Verstappen started from the pole position where he stayed until the end of the race, and his teammate Sergio Pérez, with a more exciting race, was right behind.

In the second race, in Saudi Arabia, we had the same outcome as the first, with the same protagonists only changing positions. It was a double for the Red Bull team for the second time this year. This time the Mexican crossed the finish line ahead of the Dutchman Verstappen, who had a brilliant race, starting from the fifteenth position and reaching the second-highest place on the podium.

Despite starting in first position, Perez was overtaken by two-time world champion Fernando Alonso, but after five laps he regained first place and stayed there until the end of the race. But for his teammate, the race was a bit more difficult. Because of a transmission problem during qualifying on Saturday, Max showed how energetic and prepared the car is for any circumstances. He overtook almost all of his rivals and left his main rival Lewis Hamilton 51 seconds behind.

With these two races and these two formidable results, everyone could already conclude what to expect from this season that is just beginning. A shock awakening, which came close to despair. The Mercedes and Ferrari teams, who had hopes of competing for the title this year, are seeing their dreams disappear at the very beginning of the year. With expectations of a fresh start and great ambitions, the teams were immediately shaken by the immediate realization of having made yet another design mistake with the new car compared to their rivals.

Everyone's shock at Red Bull's new car was of such proportion that Mercedes driver George Russell concluded that Red Bull is so powerful that they are likely to win every race this long season. "Red Bull has the championship in their grasp, I don't think there is anyone who can fight with them this year. I expect them to win every race this season. That's my bet. With the performance they showed in Bahrain, I don't see anyone who can challenge them."

A surprise for the viewers of the category is to see Aston Martin in its second consecutive field and, it seems, with a chance to compete for the title. After impressing in testing and also in the first two races of the new season, leaving Ferrari and Mercedes behind, Aston Martin confirmed itself as a great revelation and a strong contender. After the great repercussion obtained by Aston Martin, Red Bull sarcastically pointed out that the AMR23s of Alonso and Stroll are copies of the cars of Verstappen and Perez.
