Elon Reeve Musk is an entrepreneur who was born on 28th June 1971. He is the CEO of the companies SpaceX and Tesla. He is also the founder of The Boring Company and co-founder of Neuralink, OpenAI, and the monetary giant PayPal. eBay bought PayPal for $1.5 million in 2002 but Elon Musk didn't settle down in just enjoying his life with that money and not working smart for the future. 

Musk is also the chairman of the Musk Foundation. Musk Foundation is working to provide solar-power energy systems in disaster areas as well as they have various other goals. Since 2002, they have made more than 350 contributions. Around half were to scientific research or education non-profits.

In 2002, he started his company SpaceX intending to colonize Mars, and accordingly, his investments started for his bright future. He is having a net income of around US $304 Billion (as of January 2022). In November 2020, Elon Musk overtook Facebook co-founder Mark Zuckerberg and became the third-richest person in the world. After a week, Musk overtook Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates to become the second-richest in the world, and in January 2021, Musk earning a net amount of $185 billion, overtook Amazon founder Jeff Bezos to become the richest person in the world.

• UNBLINKING FOCUS TOWARDS THE END GOAL- He always had the skill of being focused, even on tough days. There was a time when he was working so hard that he used to sleep with his head down on his desk. His company Tesla was new and he was working 75 hours per week to make it work and right now Tesla is the biggest giant in all multinational companies.

• CONSISTENT HABIT OF READING BOOKS- Once Warren Buffet also claimed that he is having the habit of reading 500 pages in a single day. Elon Musk is like a bookworm, he was having the habit of reading 10 hours a day as claimed by his school authorities. Reading habit not only improves memory but also the concentration power of the individual. It also leads to better cognitive abilities in an individual.

• HIGHLY OPTIMISTIC- Elon Musk has always been enthusiastic and he has always dreamt about those things which normal people consider impossible. He has worked tirelessly on those things which were classified impossible until they happened to be true. Our unconscious mind is having direct relationship with over-positive thinking or positive thoughts. It is the unconscious mind only which directs the behaviour of the conscious mind in our daily life. Many times, we have heard this phrase that we should always think positively in our life. Musk realized in his college life that educational institutions cannot provide him with that knowledge which he can learn on his own.

• CREATE INSTEAD OF COMPLAINING- Most people in the world just complain about traffic, but not Elon Musk. Instead of complaining about the same, he found a solution and it gave the way to the foundation of The Boring Company which is working on a tunnel system. Hereby paying attention to the problem of the people, Musk recognized the need for the people.

• LOVE YOUR STAKEHOLDERS AS THEY ARE THE PART OF YOUR FAMILY- The best leaders in the world always consider their co-workers as their family members. Musk is having the habit of appreciating and expressing his gratitude to customers and employees on Twitter. It may be a small gesture but recognition matters for the people. Staff is the asset of the organization and if we will take care of them then they will take proper care of the business.

• PLAN FOR SUCCESS BUT ALSO BE PREPARED FOR FAILURE-: Musk once explained that even if the chances are there of the failure, then still the person should try with best efforts. If you want to achieve something that your body needs to release sweat to achieve success and the failure will not hit you hard when you have a backup plan or a second plan.

• DON’T FOLLOW TRENDS, BUT CREATE THEM- Musk has always believed in innovation. Musk also once said that the most successful companies have always focused on creating innovations in the world. Successful companies don't have the habit of chasing the competition but creating their way. Musk has insisted on being unique instead of chasing others.

• SELF-COMPETITION- Musk has insisted that one should not compete with others but with oneself. The feedback loop is having major importance here, where the person consistently tried to think on his weak points and to find solutions of how to improve his or her work in the coming time.
