Hello!

I am Skylar Hatch, the new editorial intern for TheSocialTalks! I've taken on the role of editing, proofreading, and fact-checking articles while also getting involved in the instruction/guidance of writing news stories.

I am a rising junior in the English Department at UNC Charlotte. While in school, I am studying English, Technical Writing, and Journalism. I am also excited to be working for the on-campus literary magazine, NOVA, as a content editor in the fall! I've been writing since I was twelve and reading for even longer. I've acquired lots of experience editing through my studies as well as assisting peers/friends with their papers and essays for school. I strive to acquire better reading, writing, and editorial skills while also gaining insight on what it's like to be involved in a public digital news platform.
