Fans Go Wild At Elland Stadium

Manchester United are just two points behind Manchester City in the premier league table. This comes after a magnificent two-nil clean sheet was produced by the Red Devils at Elland Road Stadium.

The premier league condemns the chanting heard during the match on 12 February, 2023, between Leeds United and Manchester United. The league is treating the issue of tragedy chanting as a matter of urgency.

A joint statement had been released from Manchester United and Leeds United, both clubs strongly condemned chanting from both sets of fans regarding historic tragedies at today's games.

Such behavior is completely unacceptable and they will continue to work together with their respective fan groups, the premier league, and other authorities on eradicating it from football.

Casemiro will return to the squad and will be allowed to take part in the Europa League match against FC Barcelona on February 16th.

Manchester United have kept nine premier league clean sheets so far this season, more than they had managed the whole of last season.

Erik Ten Hag commented on the fans' energy today at the Elland Stadium. “I’m especially happy for the fans of Manchester United that we won this rivalry. Still a bit disappointed about Wednesday, but in a rivalry you can sometimes drop points that you don’t want, but we came back.”

The manager discussed defender Harry Maguire’s performance against Leeds. “He will play his games, definitely we need him. He’s a good player but we have competition, top quality in the back line. Nice internal competition and we need that as a team to win games.”

Erik Ten Hag believes that Manchester United forward Marcus Rashford is currently one of the best attackers in Europe. “Definitely one of them, I was convinced from the first moment. I was really excited to work with him. I can get more out of him. He has such high potential.”

Erik Ten Hag has also made remarks on Wout Weghorst’s assist. “He has a big part in what Marcus Rashford is doing, but we want more box arrivals and finishing. We have to get used to his movements and bring him into the right place.”

At the moment, Sir Jim Ratchliffe does not want to offer more than four billion to buy Manchester United. The asking price for the club is set at six billion pounds.
