Football Pundit and Weghorst speak out on Club

Former Manchester United defender and current football Pundit Gary Alexander Neville has spoken out against Manchester United’s current manager, Mr. Erik Ten Hag, on his podcast.

“Personally, I would go for Pochettino, but Erik Ten Hag is the massive favorite of Manchester United fans to take the club forward. That’s it, if it’s a clear choice between the two,” Neville stated. “Erik Ten Hag is doing an unbelievable job there. He’s still got a team that looks, on paper, well below what it needs to be. But he needs them… If you’d said to me that United would’ve had a back four of Wan-Bissaka, Luke Shaw at center back, with Malacia at left back, and a front three of Bruno, Martial, and Rashford, seven or eight months ago I’d have said United were in big trouble.”

He went on to explain that “it meant the game was more difficult for Manchester City, and Casmeiro has been absolutely outstanding. Authority, composure, Manchester United's midfield was the problem for many years. Actually, that’s their strongest part of the team, and instead they need additions on the back and upfront.”

Newcastle United have expressed an interest in Scott Mctominay, and the player is worried about a lack of game time under Erik Ten Hag. Mctominay is understood to be open to moving to James Park.

According to Luke Edwards, Newcastle United will bid for Scott Mctominay if they are offered any encouragement from Manchester United to do so.

Manchester United want a transfer fee of thirty million pounds for the Scottish Midfielder on loan.

According to Jacob Steinburg, the English club are also very interested in signing West Ham United's defensive midfielder, twenty-three year old Declan Rice. They’ve also laid some of the ground work for a potential summer move.

According to Fabrizio Romano, Manchester United have been interested in Victor Osimhen for a long time now, and it won’t be a shock if they try and sweep him on a loan move in the summer. It would probably be a bidding war, since a lot of clubs are interested.

Fabrizio Romano went on to confirm that Napoli don’t want to even discuss the price for Victor Osimhen, as their full focus is on winning the league, and will not be drawn into any distractions.

According to Fabrizio Romano, Manchester United still remain interested in Jurriaan Timber. Erik Ten Hag is said to love the player.

Wout Weghorst has released a statement on joining Manchester United as a striker, and had also declared (after the Manchester Derby) on Saturday that he would be seen wearing number twenty-seven.

“For me, it (his time in the premier league) was not done, it was not finished. It did not work out the first time as I hoped and I’m really hungry to show myself, to help the team… Of course, we are on a really good track now. The last couple of weeks, months actually, it’s going really positive here and I just want to contribute and give my best, and give my all to the club and I try to be a part of the successful way we are going,” Weghorst stated. “Of course I want to score goals here, I’m a striker and I think every striker thinks that you are living for scoring goals.”

He went on to say “that (scoring goals) is definitely something I want to achieve here also. That’s also what I meant by being part of it and contributing. Of course, for me as a striker, at the end, it’s all about goals.”
