Former Real Madrid Midfielder Carlos Casemiro picked up his first-ever red card against Crystal Palace on Saturday. This came after Anthony Santos was shoved off the field into the side board.
This caused a tussle between the Crystal Palace players and Manchester United players. Erik Ten Hag spoke out about the inconsistency of VAR. “Casemiro crossed the line, you saw that. However, I’m unhappy with the inconsistent refereeing, not only this game, but also the other games. They elbowed Martinez, and last week Eriksen was knocked over… The team stands for each other, they don’t accept it when a player from us can be badly injured”.
“A lot of other players crossed the line, including some Crystal Palace players. VAR didn’t intervene with them. I saw two teams fighting and two teams crossing the line, but only our player was carded. The player from Crystal Palace started this and took a big risk by injuring Anthony.”
Fred has spoken about his manager Erik Ten Hag. “ He has put rules up inside the dressing room: don’t be late, don’t do wrong things, always do what you can to help your partner. It is very important and we are growing everyday”.
Fred further mentioned his secret scouting skills. “Casemiro had sent me a message last summer, saying, ‘maybe I will come to Manchester United.’ I know his quality, so I messaged him back, saying, 'you need to come here today, right now.’ I admire him a lot. He’s a world class player, it’s also important for him to be in the team.”
Fred spoke about himself personally. “I want to play more, of course, but in my day-to-day work, I continue to lead by example to do my job, and I hope that young players can take inspiration from that. I’m really happy and honored that the manager says I’m an example.”
Mason Greenwood would consider a move to China to revive his football career, if Manchester United ends his contract. The twenty-one-year-old was reportedly unhappy that the club did not back and stand by him.
Formal offers for Manchester United are expected to be submitted within the next week. The sale, which is expected to attract initial bids of at least four billion pounds, has attracted considerable interest from potential buyers in the Middle East, The United States, and Asia.
Manchester United's sale process is understood to be much further down the track than Liverpool’s, and said to have attached higher indicative bids.
