Manager Fumes At Board

Manchester United will turn down any offers for Scott Mctominay or Harry Maguire this month.

However, Newcastle United have made an offer for Scott Mctominay if United were open to a sale, but the club won’t let go as Erik Ten Hag sees him as an important player.

The same goes for Harry Maguire, who has been the subject of interest for West Ham United. Anthony Elanga is a serious option for Borussia Dortmund, but they don’t have the money to buy him, so his onboarding would likely be a loan deal.

They may try to sell some players in the next six months to help fund a potential permanent deal for the twenty-year-old Swedish winger.

Facundo Pellistri’s agent spoke about his future at the club after Serie A Side, and Bologna had expressed interest in the twenty-one-year-old midfielder.

Fabrizio Romano has confirmed that Manchester United are not open to any talks on signing a midfielder in January.

“I would keep it open for opportunities because we never know, maybe in the midfield, something could change,” Romano admitted. “But at the moment there is nothing advanced, so to speak. At the moment, Manchester United are not negotiating for any other players.”

Manchester United is an option for Marco Reus. His agent and Erik Ten Hag met to speak about Reus, and Erik seems to be interested in him. They will have to see what happens in the summer, but he’s an option as a potential free agent.

The manager has voiced his concerns of signing more players in January.

“We will do our research, and if there are opportunities we have to go for it,” he claimed. “I think as Manchester United football club, you always have to look for solutions, and you always have to look for better and that is what we do.”

Erik Ten Hag was asked about the return of Jadon Sancho to the first team line up in time for the Arsenal game, but he refused to comment.

“I can’t answer that question, He’s making the next step,” Ten Hag said. “It’s true, on Tuesday he was in team training for the first time, but team training is the final training before the game.”
