Manchester United are in the Caraboa Cup final

According to Samuel Luckurst, Manchester United are convinced that they have signed the best attacking midfielder available on a short-term basis — Marcel Sabitzer. They have signed him in attempts to offset the absence of Christian Eriksen until late April.

James Ducker has spoken about the consistency of the club at present, as he is tired of seeing the club at the mercy of troublemakers and problem players. Arnold had only one edict on transfers to Murtough and Ten Hag as part of their moves to reshape the dressing room.

According to Samuel Luckurst, Manchester United plan to welcome a new goalkeeper, a younger midfielder, and a striker in the summer as permanent arrivals.

Erik Ten Hag stated that his goal for the match between Nottingham Forest was to face triumph against the team. United desire to find themselves on their way to Wembley to take on Newcastle United in the Carabao cup final.

“We have to go to Wembley. It has been a long time since Manchester United has gone to the finals and winning the final is our goal,” Ten Hag said. The semis were a minor hurdle for the Red Devils to finally ball out in a cup final.

Manchester United defender Raphael Varane had his say on the condition and mindset of the current team that he is working with. “I think we have to believe, and we need that confidence for winning trophies. We are already improving a lot and we are in a good moment. We have to stay calm but be ambitious at the same time. We are much better now and we have to keep going,” the defender said.

Erik Ten Hag commented on Jadon Sancho’s situation at Old Trafford. Sancho played his first game in the cup semi-final last night. Prior to the game, he was out on a motivation vacation and training with Dutch coaches in the Netherlands, to treat his lack of self-belief.

“It was great to see the love of the fans for Jadon Sancho, he made a great comeback. He was smiling during the last few weeks at Carrington. I hope he can contribute to his momentum. He will help as a number ten and also as a winger,” Ten Hag commented.

World Champion Lisandro Martinez also commented on his surroundings at work. “The vibe and the atmosphere in the dressing room is really positive and I am proud we’re on this good run. It shows that we are on the right road and we are making progress.”

Goalkeeper Tom Heaton, who rarely starts for United, had a good game in the semi final of the Carabao Cup. “There is a really, really good atmosphere at the moment. I think there is a lot of momentum… that’s been a key word here, trying to get this (Old Trafford) back to a real fortress.”

Heaton further went on to say that “Erik Ten Hag has set the boundaries on what is acceptable and what isn’t, and has been very clear. As players you respond to that. The football ideas he’s got across have been good so far. It’s important we keep it up.”

Erik Ten Hag wrapped up his press conference against Forest by saying “when you’re a Manchester United player, you have to match the standard of this great club.”
