As the January transfer window is among us, many rival English clubs are fit to put in bids for players of their interest.
According to Fabrizio Romano, Chelsea is now in direct talks with Benfica for Argentinian midfielder Enzo Fernandez. Fernandez had agreed to join Chelsea and talks regarding the contract are in process. Manchester United has still not made any bid for the world cup star.
This could possibly be the darkest transfer window for Manchester United, as other rival clubs look to purchase players based on their world cup tournament performances.
Manchester United has not announced any finalised deals just yet. Erik Ten Hag has pleaded with the Manchester United board on multiple occasions to loan or purchase him a striker. As Manchester United heave its way into the top four battle field, Ten Hag wants an attacker.
Atletico Madrid is currently not into any talks or negotiations for Joao Felix. Diego Simone had spoken about the Portuguese forward after he had scored a goal at Atletico Madrid. "While he’s here, I'll try to get the best out of Joao Felix for the club. Then we will see what's gonna happen,” he claimed. Jorge Mendes is still in contact with English clubs.
Borussia Manchengladbach forward Marcus Thuram is ready to turn down offers from Aston Villa and Newcastle to join Manchester United.
According to BILD, if Thuram was to join the premier League, he would like to move to Manchester United rather than Aston Villa or Newcastle. The versatility of the forward may make him a potentially useful option to the Red Devils.
The Red Devils have responded to Erik Ten Hag after he had benched Marcus Rashford for being late to a pre-match meeting. Luke Shaw has spoken to the press regarding the little hiccup with the manager and the forward.

The EPL world has reported that negotiations with Manchester United regarding sponsoring the club's shirt are ongoing. The initial contract was intended to be signed between the two parties this week.
